Established almost 20 years ago Blue Circus Studios is a modern Circus incubator, performance company and training & event space located in Fitzroy. A renewed company ambition aimed to bring Blue Circus ‘up and out of the underground’ and more effectively reflect their ethos to inspire, support and respect audiences and fellow artists as a proudly independent arts business.
A playful, ongoing exploration around the often clichéd, sometimes controversial, but undeniable ‘Ta Da’ of circus speaks to a broad audience – from seasoned performers looking to hone advanced skills, to the uninitiated longing to unleash their inner acrobat as well as arts audiences on the hunt for something a little different. The Blue Circus brand identity is high-brow and low-brow, claret and custard.
