The visual identity for the Melbourne International Songwriters Festival (MISF) needed to reflect the event as a unique cultural festival while still retaining high visual impact to compete with Melbourne’s endless and varied entertainment options. Appealing to a broad audience was imperative - from Melbourne locals to tourists, children to professional musicians. We developed an identity that allowed for a dialling up & down of the visual language to ensure effective communication to these varied audiences.
